2oz tequila blanco (can make ½ oz of it Mezcal)

2oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

½ oz fresh squeezed lime juice

½ oz maple syrup or simple syrup

1 oz soda water

Flaky sea salt & grapefruit wedge, for the garnish
Paloma
Paloma means “dove” in Spanish. Some sources think that the drink is named after a popular folk song called “La Paloma” from the 1800’s
Cut a notch in the grapefruit wedge, then run the grapefruit around the rim of a glass. Dip the edge of the rim into a plate of flaky sea salt.
Add the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, syrup and stir until combined.
Fill the glass with ice. Top with soda water
